Who This Service Is For

Private hauling and city or county debris programs

Municipal and county programs may collect eligible storm debris on their published routes and separation rules after a declared event. A private hauler can remove accepted materials on a staff-confirmed appointment when a driveway or yard needs clearing outside those rules or timelines. Eligibility, pile separation, and pickup schedules come from the city or county. Use the official pages below for current instructions.

How storm debris removal is priced

Storm debris removal is priced from volume, weight, access, labor, and the number of trips. Planning ranges live on the junk removal cost page. Staff confirms the price after reviewing photos and the address. This page does not add a separate storm surcharge.

Before a storm and after a storm

Before hurricane season or a storm watch, use the yard checklist and the Central Florida debris guide to plan what to clear early.

After a storm, keep people out of unsafe areas, photograph debris from a safe distance, and request a review. The team confirms whether the materials are accepted and whether an appointment is available.

Orlando and published service areas

Junk Removal Rangers reviews storm-debris requests for published Central Florida service areas, including Orlando. A city on the service-area list is a planning starting point. Share the full address so staff can confirm coverage for that property.

What the Project Can Include

Important Scope Boundaries

Project Process

  1. Confirm the property is safe — Contact emergency services or the utility first for active hazards, downed lines, fire, flooding or unstable structures.
  2. Share separated debris details — Send photos showing vegetative, household, appliance and construction materials separately when possible.
  3. Review scope and availability — JRR confirms accepted materials, equipment, access, pricing and the next available service window.
  4. Remove approved debris — The crew loads only the approved material and documents completion when included in the scope.

Submitting creates an unscheduled estimate request only. It does not schedule or dispatch a crew.

Storm Debris Removal FAQs

Do you guarantee emergency storm cleanup?

No. Time-sensitive requests depend on safe access, crew and equipment availability, route conditions and facility operations.

Can you remove fallen branches?

Branches and vegetative debris may be accepted after size, access, cutting needs and site hazards are reviewed. Active utility hazards must be handled first.

What storm materials are not accepted?

Hazardous chemicals, fuels, asbestos, biohazards, unknown containers and other regulated materials are excluded. The team may also exclude unsafe or unseparated loads.

Can you provide photos for insurance?

Project photographs can be included when requested and approved, but JRR does not determine insurance coverage or replace an insurer's documentation requirements.

Are you the City of Orlando or county storm-debris contractor?

No. Junk Removal Rangers is a private junk-removal company. We are not a City of Orlando, Orange County, or other county emergency debris contractor, and we do not administer municipal storm-debris programs. For official post-disaster programs, follow the city and county pages linked on this page.

How is private storm hauling different from city or county pickup?

City and county programs follow their own eligibility, separation, and schedule after a declared event. Private hauling is a paid, appointment-based removal of accepted materials when you need a staff-confirmed window. Current program rules are on the City of Orlando and Orange County pages linked on this page.

Do you remove hurricane and storm debris in Orlando?

Accepted non-hazardous storm-related yard and property debris can be reviewed for private hauling in Orlando and other published service areas. Send photos and the complete address. Staff confirms acceptance, price, and the available appointment.

How much does storm debris removal cost?

The price depends on volume, weight, access, labor, and the number of trips. Use the planning ranges on the junk removal cost page. Staff confirms the price for the actual load. This service does not publish a separate storm surcharge.

Do you recycle storm debris?

Accepted materials are reviewed for the handling options available at the time of service. There is no fixed recycling or diversion percentage.
